HLTA – SEN experience
Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils, SEND teams and Schools throughout the UK. We have a high demand for one-to-one or small group Higher Level Teaching Assistants who have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Peterlee area.

The Opportunity
As a HLTA, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 lessons that are tailored to each individual student. You may have experience of working with children in a therapeutic way. One of your aims will be to support the pupil in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine and continue their educational development until a suitable placement is found.

The tuition is replacing school for these young people and each individual is commissioned for a certain amount of hours, taking place during school hours, five days a week. Prospero will work with you closely to monitor the progression with...
