HLTA/ Lead Teaching Assistant – Charlton, Greenwich – Full‑time – start September 2026.

Role

You will work in the purpose‑built support hub to provide personalised assistance to 4‑5 key stage 1 pupils with complex SEND. Pupils include non‑verbal children and those exhibiting challenging behaviour. You will help them access learning within a sensory curriculum focused on communication and development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual learning support to pupils with SEND.
  • Plan and facilitate activities that promote basic communication and developmental skills.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, hub teacher and leadership team to monitor progress.
