HLA Engineer

The HLA Engineer specializes in the box build phase. You are responsible for the complex mechanical integration, including chassis assembly, cable harnessing, and final system testing. Your goal is to optimize the assembly flow for large-scale mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and research assembly methods for complex mechanical systems, including chassis, hardware fittings, and cable routing.
• Analyze and plan floor space requirements and equipment layout specifically for HLA cells to improve throughput.
• Design or source specialized jigs and fixtures to assist operators in repetitive mechanical assembly tasks.
• Lead the technical expertise for mechanical hardware and cable/harness assembly standards.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S) to reduce assembly time and eliminate waste in the mechanical integration phase.
