Position Description

A Hixon Elementary School - 0.4 FTE - Grade 4-7- Limited Duration Contract Teacher is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George). Applicants with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience are preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or proof of application).
• Copy of letter from the TRB stating requirements to attain permanent certification status if certificate is conditional.
• Knowledge of Ministry of Education’s redesigned curriculum and core competencies.
• Evidence of appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching.
• A proven ability with assessment as and for learning strategies.
