History Teacher

We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary academy with a simple but powerful purpose, to help pupils enjoy learning, aim high, and feel valued every single day. The role is mainly History, teaching across KS3 and KS4, with some wider Humanities teaching where it fits naturally. For the right person, there’s also scope to teach A Level History. The curriculum is carefully sequenced and rich in both British and global history, with a strong focus on enquiry, critical thinking and building evidence-based arguments. This is about meaningful learning, not ticking boxes.
