Kelly Science is seeking a **Histology Scientist** for a long term contract with a growing team located in **Gaithersburg, MD** .
**Pay:** $40-45/hour
**Shift:** Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
**Employment Type:** Full Time; Long term contract (Fully Benefited)
**Job responsibilities include:**
+ Perform histology and slide staining (including IHC, IF, multiplex, and ISH), and conduct tissue grossing, processing, embedding, and microtomy.
+ Accession and manage research samples and biobank database, ensuring compliance with HBS guidelines, GLP/GCLP regulations, and safety standards.
+ Digitize slides, evaluate image quality, and re-scan as needed; maintain lab equipment and shared spaces.
+ Analyze data, interpret results, document findings, and communicate effectively; contribute to scientific solutions, manuscript and patent preparation, and maintain precise technical documentation.
