An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing highways team following increased capital investment in preventative highway maintenance programmes.

We are seeking an experienced Highway Maintenance Engineer / Project Supervisor with strong civil engineering knowledge and hands‑on experience in preventative treatments including surface dressing, micro‑asphalt, and slurry surfacing.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Clerks of Works and oversee contractors on site
• Ensure specification compliance, quality standards, and programme delivery
• Make sound engineering decisions relating to highways maintenance works
• Coordinate preventative maintenance activities across live projects
