Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Pontefract

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive primary school in Pontefract, starting at Easter on a full-time, long-term supply basis for the summer term. Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as required
• Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress
• Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and a supportive classroom environment
