Job Description
The Governing Board, staff and children of St.Marie’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated schoolteam. We are an outstanding small, friendly school with a big heart and warm family environment situated in the heart of the Standish community.
You will work across the whole school and the range of support will vary from covering PPA sessions and management time, to leading Special Educational Needs interventions and supporting class teachers with small group work, marking, displays and organisation of resources.
You will be:
- fully supportive of the Catholic ethos, values and Mission Statement
- able to use your own initiative to work without supervision
- able to plan, deliver, mark and assess a subject area to cover PPA and management time
- be caring, positive and flexible with a willingness to work as part of our team
