Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities in schools across Harrogate?

New Directions Education is seeking enthusiastic HLTAs to support a range of primary schools throughout Harrogate and the surrounding areas. We have both immediate vacancies and roles starting in September, with short-term, long-term, and ongoing placements available.

The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Support teaching and learning across a range of year groups.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to raise attainment and confidence.
  • Assist in planning and delivering targeted interventions.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging learning environment.
  • Support teachers in ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.
