High Voltage Engineer

Overview

At Tata Steel's Trostre Works, our electrical distribution networks are critical to everything we do. We're looking for a High Voltage Engineer to take ownership of those networks, shape long-term strategy, and lead the safe, compliant operation of HV and LV systems across site. This is a senior, trusted engineering role with influence, combining hands-on technical authority, leadership of specialist teams, and collaboration with National Grid and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the onsite HV/LV inspection, testing and maintenance teams
• Support compliance with electrical, health, safety and environmental legislation
• Act as the primary interface with National Grid, managing permits and works on site
• Set site electrical policy in line with BS, EN, IEC and Tata Steel standards
