Hi Lift Driver
Permanent. Location: Birmingham Airport, Birmingham. Hours: 8 hours a day, varied shifts. Pay: £15.19 per hour.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Operate ambulifts, minibuses, and specialist vehicles to transport PRM passengers airside
- Assist passengers safely to/from aircraft, terminal, and vehicles using manual handling techniques
- Coordinate boarding and disembarkation with cabin crew and ground staff
- Ensure safe operation and control of all ambulift equipment (platforms, lifts, controls)
- Plan and deliver efficient transport of multiple passengers to meet departure times
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults in line with procedures
- Maintain high standards of customer care throughout the passenger journey
- Undertake additional duties including driving buggies, marshalling, and terminal assistance
