HGV TECHNICIAN

£40,560 40 hours per week, including 30 mins paid new.

Alternate weeks: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm/Mon – Fri 2pm-10pm alternate weeks. Additional overtime opportunities available and call out/stand by to site.

As a HGV (Truck) Technician your role is to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road through safe, compliant and high‑quality maintenance.

• Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
• Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

• Qualification -You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance. What’s more, ...
