HGV Technician

Location: Doncaster
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days or Nights Available)
Pay Rate: Up to £24.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for experienced HGV Technicians to join the busy workshop team based in Doncaster, the site is operational 24/7 and the workshop consists of three pits, hard standing bays, ramps, tacho bay and brake roller tester. The role would involve working on mainly Scania but also some work on Volvo, Merc, DAF, Renault, Iveco, and MAN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Complete inspections and safety checks to DVSA standards
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety within the workshop
