HGV Class 2 Driver

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Truck Driver to join our client's team in the Sheffield area. This is a permanent position. Rate of pay is £14.10 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations.
• Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Secure cargo properly on flatbeds to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered en route.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety laws and company policies during driving duties.
