Location: Walton Summit – Preston

Rates (HGV Class 1)

Days: Monday to Friday Days £16.80 per hour (Holiday pay accrued) / £18.53 per hour (Holiday pay included)

Saturday & Sunday Nights £17.50 per hour (Holiday pay accrued) / £19.61 per hour (Holiday pay included)

Duties

  • Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company procedures.
  • Complete daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
  • Deliver and collect goods to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
  • Complete delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and electronic records accurately.
  • Adhere to driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and tachograph legislation....
