HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Newton Aycliffe

Pay: £17.50ph - £23.00ph

Rapier Employment is currently seeking HGV Class 1-night drivers for our expanding client in Newton Aycliffe. This is a days and nights trunking role between internal depots with some self‑tipping involved.

Responsibilities

  • Trunking between depots.
  • Self‑tipping involved.
  • Multi‑drop delivery/collections experience.
  • Safely operate vehicle adhering to business standards.

Qualifications

  • “Can do” attitude.
  • Cat C+E licence holder.
  • Physically fit to lift heavy items and take to required location.
  • No DR10's, No CD10's, No IN10's – no more than 6 points.
  • Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.

Pay & Hours

Different start times / shift patterns to suit.

  • Days — £17.50ph
