Job Description
A well-established and successful Truck and Trailer Rentals Company based in Basildon is looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to join the team.
Responsibilities as HGV Class 1 Driver:
Assisting with daily deliveries and collections of vehicles and trailers to the surrounding areas.
Presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT.
Carrying out daily checks on shunters.
Keeping yard tidy and shunting in yard vehicles that are required for hire.
Getting vehicles ready for hire, valeting, and carrying out operational checks.
Delivering vehicles to other depots within the group.
Collecting new vehicles from body builders.
What we’re looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver:
Must have a Full Driving Licence HGV Class 1,
CPC and Digi card holder
A good knowledge of the area.
Flexibility is required
Overtime as and when required.
