Job Description

You will be part of the Logistics Delivery team operating a fleet of potable water tankers to support reactive and planned work. You will handle the acquisition of water samples before loading and discharging them into hydrants or reservoirs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive HGV 1 and HGV 2 vehicles with manual and automatic gearboxes.
  • Drive support vehicles such as welfare vans.
  • Follow processes and procedures for water delivery.
  • Collect water samples prior to loading and discharge.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver.
  • Happy working on a rotational shift pattern, including days and nights.
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
  • A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
  • Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
