HGV Class 1 Day Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team on the Howdens Joinery Contract on day shift.

Salary: £43,855 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Days (staying out overnight, 1 to 3 days)

Responsibilities

• Transporting goods and materials to various Howdens Joinery destinations
• Ensuring goods are loaded and secured properly
• Following all traffic laws and regulations
• Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
• Involves nights out 1-3 per week, Strapping Chipboard loads
• Straps and ratchets, Physical work

Requirements

• A valid HGV license and CPC card
• At least 2 years of experience as an HGV Driver
• A good driving record
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
