Heavy Vehicle Drivers (Code 14)

Key Responsibilities

• Transport heavy commodities between manufacturing divisions, depots, distribution centers, and customer locations.
• Load, secure, and deliver products safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip sheets, fuel receipts, toll receipts and proof of delivery documentation.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and in roadworthy condition.
• Communicate regularly with fleet controllers, logistics personnel and management regarding delivery schedules and route updates.
• Respond effectively to changing traffic, weather and road conditions.
• Adhere to all national and international transport regulations and Company procedures.
• Assist with ad hoc logistics-related duties and special projects as required.
• Ensure strict compliance with Company protocols regarding vehicles, trailers, equipment and/or goods.
