Heavy Truck Driver for Equipment Transport

Drive and operate heavy vehicles as a Heavy Truck Driver responsible for transporting equipment and materials. Perform inspections, maintain logs, and ensure load safety on every trip.
This position involves operating a tractor trailer with float or dump trailers as needed. The Heavy Truck Driver will conduct daily inspections and manage loading and unloading operations. Furthermore, you will need to secure attachments and materials properly to ensure safe transportation to job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive tractor trailers and switch between trailer types
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload equipment while securing necessary attachments
• Maintain accurate driver’s log book and submit weekly
• Secure all materials using appropriate tie-down procedures
• Plan travel routes using GPS and maps
• Report on the condition of all equipment properly
