**Job Title:** Heavy Equipment Operator
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to transport salt and other materials within a mine. This role includes loading, hauling, and unloading materials efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and operational procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Move material using heavy equipment underground.
+ Transport salt from one end of the mine to the other using heavy equipment.
+ Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
+ Assist the maintenance department with preventive maintenance on equipment when needed.
+ Operate a forklift and other heavy equipment to move salt throughout the mine.
+ Complete assigned paperwork accurately for specific customers/orders.
+ Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
