Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Diagnosis:Examining heavy equipment for proper performance, identifying malfunctions using diagnostic tools, and determining the extent of needed repairs.
• Repair and Maintenance:Overhauling engines, transmissions, and other systems; repairing or replacing damaged parts; performing preventative maintenance like cleaning and lubricating.
• Troubleshooting:Identifying and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining detailed repair logs and reports.
