Heavy Duty Mechanic – Remote Projects

Currently Technica is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing team as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Mine Development. There are open positions available in support positions as well as, on the beat, both will assist our maintenance team in their efforts to maintain and progress our long term, camp projects in Ontario . The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support remote/camp projects in Ontario
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures of motorized equipment
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure work meets manufacturers specifications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs and documentation
• Order parts as required to complete repairs
• Follow daily line-ups and executing scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards as well as manufacturer specifications
