Heavy Duty Mechanic

Overview

MWM Environmental is actively seeking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic or mechanically inclined person based in Morden, Manitoba, reporting to the Operations Manager, who will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet including waste disposal on highway trucks, passenger vehicles, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of the vehicles and equipment.
• Perform vehicle inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on all company vehicles as required.
• Provide insight on the set up of shop facility to provide more efficient service to our fleet.
• Thoroughly complete work orders to support internally tracking maintenance and parts inventories in accordance with company, provincial and federal requirements.
