Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyman)

Location: Otterburne

Hours: Full‑Time, 40 hours per week.

Vacancy Type: Replacement

What You'll Do

  • Fleet Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair truck and trailer units to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections and service work, to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
  • Mechanical & Electrical Systems: Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, tractor and trailer wiring, brakes, suspension, steering, and related components.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, workplace policies, and maintenance standards at all times.
  • Maintenance Administration: Coordinate repair schedules, manage purchase orders, and keep accurate maintenance records using computer‑based systems.
