GIP is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to enhance our team in Delta, BC. Contribute to maintaining specialized foundation drilling equipment for diverse projects in the Greater Vancouver area.
As an experienced technician, you will join our full-time team working Monday to Friday. Your expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues will be crucial. A Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal certification is preferred, but strong non-Red Seal candidates are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic issues
• Respond to emergency field repairs promptly
• Support on‑site troubleshooting for field crews
• Maintain service records and parts inventory
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
