Heavy Duty Mechanic (Grande Prairie)

Position Description

Are you a Heavy-Duty Technician who enjoys working independently? We are seeking a full-time, permanent Heavy Duty Mechanic to serve as the primary technical resource for our Grande Prairie facility.

In this role, you will be the sole mechanic on-site, providing critical support for our northern operations. While you will report directly to the Mechanic Foreman in Blackfalds for technical guidance and fleet standards, you will work in close daily partnership with the Grande Prairie Yard Manager to ensure equipment is ready for the field.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Maintenance: Take full responsibility for the routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of all assets assigned to northern operations.
• Operational Partnership: Work alongside the Yard Manager to prioritize repairs and ensure equipment is ready for dispatch.
