As a – Heavy Duty Mechanic at Ascot Mine, you’ll troubleshoot and repair a variety of Caterpillar mining equipment such as Rock Trucks, D9 and D10 dozers, 395 Excavators & Graders; leveraging your technical expertise to build trust, solve challenges, and keep our customers equipment moving.

Your work will include:

  • Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in an active mine environment
  • Interface with customers, products and sales support
  • Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds
  • Component replacements
  • Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication

    • Specific Skills & Experience

  • Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification
  • Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr)
  • 5+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience Recommended
