Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Elite Interiors NT Pty Ltd t/as DCT Australia, is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join its workshop team.

Duties include:

1. Diagnose, inspect, service and repair heavy diesel engines, transmissions, drivelines, braking, steering, suspension and hydraulic systems.
2. Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy diesel vehicles, earthmoving equipment, mobile plant and trailers.
3. Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment, service manuals and manufacturer specifications.
4. Repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical components to restore equipment to operational condition.
5. Dismantle, overhaul, reassemble and test diesel engines, components and associated mechanical systems.
