Heavy Diesel Mechanic - FIFO

About the Role:

Aurizon is looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Murrin Murrin Operations in WA on a 2 & 1 Roster flying out of Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Aurizon’s mobile plant assets, ensuring their safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will work within a structured maintenance program, responding to planned and unplanned maintenance while upholding Aurizon’s commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on road trains and heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Conduct breakdown repairs and troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime and maintain production targets.
• Inspect, test, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
