Health Technician

Summary The primary purpose of the Health Tech position is to perform duties that support the rehabilitation team in treating patients at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center. The position is located in Rehabilitation Services under Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Extended Care Service. Responsibilities Duties to include but are not limited to: Ability to communicate effectively Skill to perform a range of treatment procedures, under the direction of a physical or occupational therapist in implementing a rehabilitation treatment plan. Skill to assist in the support of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinics. Knowledge of signs and symptoms of emergent conditions. Skill to assist the PT/OT with complex wheelchair seating.
