Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator

The Opportunity:

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Health Safety & Environmental Coordinator at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia, working a FIFO rotation of 14-shifts on and 14-shifts off.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the HSE Coordinator is responsible for administering, and implementing company-wide occupational health, safety and environmental programs, and serves as the coordinator for the day-to-day safety initiatives. These may include, but not limited to, job observations, safety audits, incident investigation, risk assessments, hazard identifications, and emergency response, ensuring that Barminco’s safety values and culture is effectively promoted and adopted across the operation in an effective and efficient manner.
