In this fast-paced position, you will respond to calls from members and prospective members, answering questions regarding purchasing or changing health plan coverage for individuals and families/Medicare, and helping them choose which insurance plan is right for them. You will be both taking inbound calls and making outbound calls using a headset. As a consultative sales representative, you will be expected to identify health coverage needs, present and sell appropriate plan options, and actively enroll prospective members. You'll take 20-30 unscripted calls a day during open enrollment, sometimes up to 45 minutes each. Your role is to find out what is important to the consumer (Why are you calling? What's wrong with your current coverage? Here is what doctor would be in network, a quote of how much it'd be).
