The department of Technology and Testing is recognized for three world leading Technology Centres located in Oslo, Bergen, and in Groningen in the Netherlands. By combining deep industrial expertise with test capabilities our Technology Centres offer research, technology development and qualification, advisory and testing & pilots services. We provide experts and test capabilities to support customers across the energy sectors, including Oil & Gas, offshore wind, hydrogen, and carbon capture. The department is running more than 15 joint industry projects, and we are responsible for 25 industry standards.
Technology Centre Bergen is offering leading expertise and testing capabilities within offshore mooring systems, materials and corrosion technology, coating systems, failure analysis and technology qualification.
