Head of Mortgages

Purpose of the Job
The Head of Mortgages will lead the Bank's overall mortgage business, responsible for strategy formulation, product development, portfolio growth, and end-to-end management of the mortgage portfolio. The role will drive sustainable growth across retail and affordable housing segments by leveraging commercial banking expertise, ensuring strong risk governance, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the Bank's long-term strategic and financial inclusion objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Mortgage Strategy & Business Leadership
Develop and execute the Bank's mortgage business strategy in line with overall retail and commercial banking objectives.
Set growth targets, portfolio mix, pricing strategy, and risk appetite for the mortgage business.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and delivery models to expand housing finance outreach.
Provide strategic leadership to mortgage product, sales support, and portfolio management teams.
