  • Deeply understand the principles of laser scanning and the necessary technologies for implementation.
  • Understand the competitive environment in laser scanning, the technical USPs of competing systems, and anticipate future developments.
  • Understand the ZEISS product strategy for local and global market, defined by the current product line-up and sales structure in close coordination with the Head of Business Unit Optical Systems and the local sales organization

  • Establish and form the R&D core team.
