Island Country Club proudly carries a storied legacy, having had two former club professionals win Major Championships.

  • Tony Lema, affectionately known as “Champagne Tony,” was another notable figure in Island CC’s history. Lema captured the 1964 Open Championship and left a lasting impression on the game with both his flair and sportsmanship. He served as the club’s first professional at Island CC during his storied career.
