The head cosmetician plans, organizes and controls the operational activities and human resources of the cosmetics department.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exemplary customer service for the cosmetics department

  • Set and achieve sales goals

  • Plan, organize and control the operations of the cosmetics department

  • Manage purchases and sales

  • Manage the cosmetics team

  • Make contact with customers and ask questions to identify their needs

  • Apply makeup and conduct events/presentations

  • Organize sales activities

  • Perform customer transactions

  • Recruit and select experienced cosmeticians, oversee the training of cosmeticians

  • Provide leadership and promote best practices in performance management to all cosmeticians

  • Ensure good communications with the managers and pharmacists of the stores
