Job Description

  • Make the menu and complete grocery list for each week of meals according to the budget given
  • lead a kitchen team in preparing 3 meals a day for anywhere from 30-60 people
  • be in charge of preparing the main course while delegating side dishes, dessert, and other responsibilities to team members
  • Provide meals for rental groups during off season

Other Responsibilities:

  • To evaluate the food service program of Camp des Iles
  • Provide suggestions and feedback about how to improve the food service program.
  • Evaluate Kitchen help and discipline in the case of unacceptable conduct.

Requirements:

  • experience working in a commercial kitchen and cooking for larger groups of people
  • MAPAQ certification, or other provincial equivalent
