Qualifications
What you will be doing as a Head Chef:
- Lead the culinary direction of Tesoro, with a focus on Italian-inspired food and premium Tasmanian produce
- Design and deliver seasonal menus that balance creativity, quality and commercial performance
- Lead, mentor and develop a capable and motivated kitchen team
- Oversee daily kitchen operations across restaurant service, breakfast, events and hotel activations
- Manage food costs, labour costs, supplier relationships and menu engineering
- Maintain strong food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
- Work closely with the F&B and hotel leadership teams to deliver memorable guest experiences
- Support conference and events through tailored menus and smooth execution
- Drive consistency, innovation and continuous improvement across the kitchen
