Head Chef - Care Home

Location: Watton, Norfolk

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Create varied and nutritious menus.
  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team.
  • Manage stock, food orders, and kitchen budgets.
  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness.
  • Minimise food waste and maintain an organised kitchen.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Experience managing and training kitchen staff.
  • Understanding of special diets and nutritional requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
