Job Description

The Position

:
  • Full time position, Monday to Friday, minimum weekends and nights

  • Hands on role for a very organised Head Chef, collaborating with your team to deliver a premium experience across daily mess meals and events

  • Maintain all catering and stock controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on waste reduction.

  • Forecasting food requirements, ordering and stock control

  • Drive exceptional food safety and quality with a focus on allergen and dietary requirements

  • High level knowledge and experience of operational and financial performances of the defence business
  • The Person:

  • Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery

  • 3+ years displayed experience as a head chef in similar venues.

  • Comfortable with people management, training and developing.

  • High level knowledge in HACCP, allergen management and food safety.
