Job Description

Shift: 7:30 - 19:00, 4 days per week with alternate weekends.

You will be responsible for managing and leading the culinary team at Aldridge Care Home to provide nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary services that contribute to the overall well‑being of residents and are delivered within budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparing modified diets that look appealing, are well‑balanced and in accordance with IDDSI guidance.
  • Placing food orders; ensuring procurement of approved suppliers and maintaining appropriate stock levels and quality while staying within agreed budget limits.
  • Supervising and directing the work of kitchen staff and the host team, providing instruction and demonstrating simple food‑preparation activities to unqualified staff.
