Head Camp Instructor - School Break Camps

The Municipality of Clarington, Public Services Department, Community Services Division is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff to provide leadership and supervision in a safe and enjoyable environment for our school break day camps. Our day camps operate September 2026 through June 2027. The Municipality offers a variety of day camp programs including sports camp, kinder camp, arts camp, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Supervisor, Community Programs – Recreation and Inclusion and the Recreation Coordinator in implementing day camp programs.
• Supervising and organizing activities, special events and field trips.
• Supervising camp staff and volunteers.
• Assisting in the delivery of all mandatory training and meetings.
• Overseeing daily camp activities at multiple locations.
