HCA Lead

Job Overview: Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents during the morning shift, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and staff based on respect, equality, and teamwork. Reporting to the Person in Charge (PIC), ADON, or Clinical Nurse Manager, and working under the immediate supervision of the Nurse in Charge.

Duties & Responsibilities: will include, but not limited to Act as the senior care assistant on duty during shifts, overseeing smooth and efficient care delivery. Allocate staff and assign duties at the start of each shift according to resident needs, staff skills, and care priorities. Lead by example, promoting professionalism, compassion, and accountability within the care team.
