What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit have multiple casual opportunities for experienced HC Drivers join our Rail Operations team located in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering single container loads with a variety of freight from major customers.


We currently have multiple casual opportunities on afternoon shift, working Monday - Friday starting at 3:30pm - 10:30pm + potential overtime as required. 


Key areas:

  • Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region.

  • Daily pre-start checks, including re-fueling & maintaining truck interior.

  • Ensure loads are restrained appropriately

  • Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed.

  • Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures.
