About the role

Hazardous Waste Technician II (HWT II) is an intermediate-level position within the Hazardous materials operations at Reworld Kitchener. The HWT II will be experienced and capable of conducting hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment utilizing the various technologies and chemicals available to them with minimal supervision. The HWT II will be proficient in handling, sorting, and consolidating hazardous materials received in the plant and onsite at customers' locations. The HWT II is responsible for the identification, segregation, packaging, labeling, and transportation preparation of hazardous and non-hazardous chemical waste in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Ontario regulatory requirements, and Reworld procedures.
