Surface Haul Truck DriverAre you someone who likes to work with others? Can you work in an environment where you set the rhythm to keep the operations moving? Are you willing to operate machinery safely and see the success of an exciting industry? Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Surface Heavy Equipment Operator at our Lotawana Quarry in Lees Summit, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.
 Essential Functions
  • Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear
  • Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
  • Work in a team environment
  • Clean work areas
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Proper wear of personal protective equipment
  • Notify supervisors of repairs needed
